It houses the latest technology in gravity-based fermentors, ultra-modern stainless steel tanks and high efficiency bottling lines. Built for small-lot wine production, the facility ensures individual vineyard blocks can be fermented and aged separately prior to final blending – allowing winemaking to create authentic, vineyard expressive wines. Veramonte was founded as a vineyard-based winery whose mission is to produce high quality wines that accurately, authentically express varietal characteristics via Chile's unique terroirs -- the combined environment of soil, topography, climate and people.
Our commitment to nurturing the ties of every wine to its soil or "sense of place" reflects a dedication to produce terroir expressive wines. Afternoon Trip to “Valparaíso” - Hotel Gervasoni Valparaíso, 120 kilometers from Santiago, considered “the Jewel of the Pacific”, is nestled in a natural amphitheater, surrounded by 45 mounts that fall abruptly to the sea.

Hotel Gervasoni: Our lodging and dinner location will be at the Gran Hotel Gervasoni. This Hotel is the fruit of lengthy restoration work to recover one of the homes of greatest cultural value in the hills of Valparaiso, measuring more than 11,000 square feet. This house was built by European immigrants circa 1870. The imposing building, now transformed into a boutique hotel, uniquely portrays, through its welcoming setting, the lifestyles of the generations of families that lived on the hill. The house’s architecture takes you back in time to the mode of life at the end of the 19th century. Luxury refurbishings concordant to the comforts of a five-star hotel interweave discreetly throughout the patrimonial air in the house, creating just the right cross between tradition and modernness.
