Cookies Policy
Last updated: Draft of 23 September 2026 · DRAFT
Provisional draft. The cookies listed below are the ones this website actually sets, checked in a browser on the working copy. The list has to be reviewed before publication and whenever a new service is added, and the final wording approved by whoever is responsible for E-Iure. Everything marked [pendiente] is information we do not have yet.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember choices you have made, keep a session open or count visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser, work in the same way and are covered by this policy.
2. Who is responsible
The website e-iure.com is published by ASOCIACIÓN ILFA E-IURE, an association incorporated under Spanish law, with registered office at Paseo de la Castellana 120, 5º izquierda, 28046 Madrid, Spain. Contact: e-iure@e-iure.com. How personal data is processed is explained in the privacy policy.
3. How consent works on this website
On your first visit you are shown a banner where you can accept or refuse cookies, or choose category by category. Until you accept, this website loads only what is strictly necessary to display the pages: no measurement script is loaded, no statistics cookie is set and the map is not requested from its provider.
Your choice is stored for one year, so the banner is not shown again, and you can change it at any time from the link at the end of this page.
4. Cookies used on this website
4.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)
These cookies make it possible to record the decision you take in the banner. Without them the site could not remember your choice.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_banner-status | E-Iure (Complianz) | Remembers that the cookie banner has already been answered, so it is not shown again. | 1 year |
| cmplz_functional | E-Iure (Complianz) | Stores your decision on functional cookies. | 1 year |
| cmplz_preferences | E-Iure (Complianz) | Stores your decision on preference cookies. | 1 year |
| cmplz_statistics | E-Iure (Complianz) | Stores your decision on statistics cookies. | 1 year |
| cmplz_marketing | E-Iure (Complianz) | Stores your decision on marketing cookies, which on this site cover the map. | 1 year |
| cmplz_consented_services | E-Iure (Complianz) | Records which individual services you have accepted. | 1 year |
| cmplz_policy_id | E-Iure (Complianz) | Records which version of this policy you accepted, so that consent can be requested again if it changes. | 1 year |
4.2 Statistics (only if you accept)
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are of interest. The measurement code is not loaded at all until you accept statistics cookies: if you refuse, nothing is sent to Google.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Limited | Assigns a random identifier to the browser so that repeat visits are not counted as new visitors. | 2 years |
| _ga_5HJ2L4G7PJ | Google Ireland Limited | Keeps the state of the visit (session) for the E-Iure measurement property. | 2 years |
Data is processed by Google as a processor and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards it declares. [pendiente: confirm the data processing agreement with Google and the retention period configured in the property.]
4.3 Content from other services
Two parts of the website load content from outside.
- Video on the home page (Vimeo). It plays in do-not-track mode, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies and the view is not linked to any viewer profile. Its content delivery provider (Cloudflare) does set a technical cookie, __cf_bm, which lasts about 30 minutes and is used to tell automated traffic from real visitors.
- Map of the member firms (OpenStreetMap). The map is not loaded until you accept cookies: until then a notice is shown in its place. Once loaded, the map tiles do not set cookies, but your IP address and the area of the map you are looking at are sent to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation.
4.4 Cookies for people who log in to manage the site
These cookies are only set for the people who administer the website, never for ordinary visitors: wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* (keep the session open), wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-* (remember preferences in the admin area) and wordpress_test_cookie (checks that the browser accepts cookies).
4.5 Other browser storage
The website stores one entry, wpEmojiSettingsSupports, in the browser session storage. It records whether the browser can display emoji correctly, contains no personal data and is deleted when the tab is closed.
5. How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your decision at any time, without giving a reason, using the following link. Withdrawing consent stops any further measurement; cookies already stored can be deleted from your browser as explained below.
6. How to manage cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block or delete the cookies stored on your device, usually under privacy or security settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of this or other websites from working properly. The help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge explain how to do it in each case.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated whenever the cookies used on the website change. If the change affects cookies that require consent, you will be asked for it again.
This cookies policy was last updated on [pendiente: date of the final text].
