Legal Notice
Last updated: Draft of 23 September 2026 · DRAFT
Provisional draft. This text is adapted from the legal notice of a Spanish member firm and is used here only as a format placeholder. E-Iure is an association of independent law firms from different countries, not a Spanish law firm, so the final wording must be drafted and approved by whoever is responsible for E-Iure. Everything marked [pendiente] is information we do not have yet.

Access to the Website is free of charge, apart from the cost of the internet connection contracted by each user. Using the Website means accepting all the terms set out in this legal notice, which may change over time, so it should be read each time the Website is used.
2. Intellectual and industrial property
E-Iure, either directly or as a licensee, owns the intellectual and industrial property rights in this Website and in the material it contains: texts, images, video, sound, software, trade marks, logos, colour combinations, structure and design. All rights are reserved.
Reproducing, distributing or communicating to the public all or part of the contents of this Website for commercial purposes, in any medium and by any technical means, is expressly prohibited without the authorisation of E-Iure. Users may view, print and store the contents solely for their own personal, private use, and must not remove or circumvent any protection or security device installed on the Website.
The logos and names of the member firms belong to each firm and appear on this Website to identify them as members of the network.
3. Conditions of use
3.1 General
Users undertake to use the Website correctly, in accordance with the law and with this legal notice, and are liable to E-Iure or to third parties for any damage caused by failing to do so. Any use of the Website that harms the interests of E-Iure or of third parties, or that overloads, damages or disables networks, servers, equipment or software, is expressly prohibited.
3.2 Contents
Users undertake to use the contents of the Website in accordance with the law and this legal notice, and in particular to refrain from reproducing, copying, distributing, making available, transforming or modifying them, except where this is permitted by law or expressly authorised by E-Iure or by the owner of the rights concerned, and from extracting or re-using all or a substantial part of the contents or of the databases behind them.
3.3 Data collection forms
Information provided through the forms on the Website must be truthful and kept up to date. Users are solely responsible for any false or inaccurate statements they make and for any harm this causes to E-Iure or to third parties. How that information is processed is described in the privacy policy.
3.4 Links to this Website
Anyone wishing to link to this Website from their own pages must comply with the following: the link may only point to the home page and may not reproduce it in any way; frames of any kind that surround the Website or display its contents under a different internet address are prohibited; no false, inaccurate or incorrect statements may be made about E-Iure, its member firms or the quality of their services; it may not be stated that E-Iure has consented to, sponsors or supervises the linking site; and the trade marks and distinctive signs of E-Iure may not be used on that site except where permitted by law or expressly authorised.
4. The member firms are independent
E-Iure is an alliance of 21 independent law firms across 20 countries. E-Iure does not itself provide legal services and is not a law firm. Each member firm is a separate, independent professional practice, responsible for its own advice, engagement terms, fees and professional indemnity insurance, and subject to the rules of the bar association or professional body of its own jurisdiction.
Nothing on this Website creates a lawyer–client relationship between a visitor and E-Iure or any of its member firms, and E-Iure is not liable for the services provided by any member firm.
5. Exclusion of liability
5.1 Information
Access to the Website does not oblige E-Iure to check the accuracy, adequacy, completeness or currency of the information it contains. The contents are general in nature and do not constitute legal advice or any other kind of professional advice. E-Iure is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the information published here, nor for any harm suffered by users or third parties whose sole basis is that information.
5.2 Quality of the service
Access to the Website does not oblige E-Iure to monitor the absence of viruses, worms or other harmful software. Users are responsible for having suitable tools to detect and remove it. E-Iure is not liable for damage caused to users’ equipment while using the Website.
5.3 Availability of the service
Access to the Website depends on services and supplies provided by third parties, including telecommunications networks whose reliability, quality and continuity are outside the control of E-Iure. The Website may therefore be suspended, cancelled or unavailable, and E-Iure is not liable for damage arising from such interruptions.
5.4 Third-party websites
Where the Website contains links to other internet sites, including the websites of the member firms, E-Iure does not control those sites or their contents and assumes no liability for them, nor does it guarantee their availability, quality, reliability or accuracy. Including those links does not imply any association or partnership with the entities concerned.
6. Protection of personal data
How personal data is processed through this Website is explained in the privacy policy.
7. Use of cookies
The cookies used on this Website are listed in the cookies policy.
8. Right of exclusion
E-Iure reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access to the Website and to the services offered through it, without prior notice, to users who fail to comply with these terms.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. [pendiente: competent courts, to be confirmed by E-Iure, bearing in mind that the association brings together firms from several countries.]
10. Changes to these terms and duration
E-Iure may change these terms at any time, and may add, alter or remove the contents and services offered through the Website and the way they are presented. The terms in force are those published here at any given time.
